Terry Cooke

Terry has played soccer for as long as he can remember. He grew up in Birmingham, England where he would play soccer for hours with his two older brothers. After joining a local youth soccer club, his talent was quickly recognized and he was scouted by numerous professional clubs. At the age of 15 he left his home in Birmingham and moved to Manchester to join Manchester United’s prestigious youth program. Whilst at Manchester United, Terry was part of a successful youth team which included players such as David Beckham, the Neville brothers and Paul Scholes. Terry remained at Manchester United for 7 years before he was sold to Manchester City. He became the third player in history to be transferred between the rival clubs. After playing soccer in England for many years, an opportunity to join Major League Soccer arose. In 2005 Terry arrived in Colorado after signing for Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids. He became a fan favorite and played with the Rapids for four years. Terry also began coaching youth soccer and holding soccer clinics whilst studying for his coaching qualifications. His soccer clinics and summer camps have gained a stellar reputation. Terry uses his knowledge of the professional game and applies the latest coaching techniques. His enthusiastic and energetic approach to coaching has proved popular, with many players returning each summer to participate in his soccer camps.
